Scoop Masters Terms of Service
The following Terms of Service outlines our policies and procedures.
When you begin using Scoop Master’s dog poop pick up services, you are giving Scoop Masters service technicians permission to enter your property to perform said doodies, (Pun intended) and agree to all stipulations herein.
1.) PAYMENTS: You will receive an electronic billing statement on the first of each service month if you are a commercial client, homeowner's association or management company. All residential clients will be required to maintain a credit card on file and will be automatically processed each week after the service is performed. You will receive an electronic invoice, please add noreply@sweepandgo.com to you email service provider’s white list, friendly list, or approved email acceptance list to assure acceptance of your invoice.
1a.) We may accept cash, checks, PayPal, Venmo and ACH bank transfers for payment. A $45.00 service charge will be added for any checks returned unpaid by your bank. Credit card information is kept on a third party PCI compliant secure server.
1b.) If for any reason we are not able to perform service due to LOCKED GATES, blocked gates or dogs that are not under control, you will still be charged a service fee at your regular rate for service. This includes neglecting to let us know in a timely manner when the dogs are not at the house. We will wait ONE MINUTE after arriving at your location for access to your yard. IF you don't want to be charged for a LOCKED GATE, please respond to the notification text before your technician arrives and we will skip your stop without charge. If you need to pause your service temporarily, you must contact us at least 24 hours in advance or log into your customer portal and request a change before 1:00 am the day of service.
1c.) Any account that remains unpaid for two consecutive billing cycles will have their account cancelled until payments are made. Upon resuming service, client will be charged the current standard rate for the subscription they have signed up for. A re-instatement charge of $15 will be added to resume service that was cancelled due to declined payments.
2.) LATE FEE: All invoices are due upon receipt and may be considered late if not paid by the 25th of each month for commercial clients, or if not paid by the end of the following week for residential clients. We may charge a late fee of $15.00 per month or 10% per month, whichever is greater, for payments not received by the due date.
SERVICE WILL BE SUSPENDED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE IF PAST DUE ACCOUNT IS NOT PAID BY THE 7TH DAY OF THE FOLLOWING WEEK.
3.) COLLECTIONS: Any account unpaid after 60 days will be subject to legal action, which you will be liable for all court costs, and\or turned over to our collection agency. We will charge a $45 processing fee to all accounts turned over to our collection agency. This could affect your future credit rating. Of course, if it gets this far you’re probably a deadbeat or a flake and don’t care because your credit is already messed up! What’re ya gonna do, tell your mortgage lender you couldn’t afford to pay the pooper scooper?!?
4.) HOLIDAYS: Your fee includes certain Holidays we will observe without compensation of cost or service. If your service day falls on a holiday, we will do our best to service your yard the day before or the day after. Due to time constraints, once a week clients will have priority over multiple visits per week if needed. We may observe the following holidays:
Memorial day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; New Years Day.
5.) VACATIONS: Our employees work very hard to keep your yard dog poop free and they deserve a little vacation time. When this happens, we will notify you and we may temporarily adjust your service days and frequency of service during that time without compensation of cost or service. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact us.
5a.) The reason you are not compensated for Holidays or vacations is because the next time we service your yard there will be twice as much. If you clean up your yard on Holidays or during an employee's vacation time and would like to be compensated for it, simply give us a call and we will pro-rate your next bill accordingly.
6.) PAUSING SERVICE: If for any reason your pet(s) will not be using the yard for a certain period (i.e. vacation, illness, etc.) and you do not wish to be charged for an unnecessary visit(s), please let us know in advance to pause the service or log into your customer portal to request a change.
7.) GATES & LATCHES: Although we try our hardest to prevent dogs from escaping, Scoop Masters, their employees or contractors will not be responsible for escaped dogs due to defective gates and /or latches, nor will we be responsible for gates that are in disrepair. We will try to notify you if your gate is in need of repair.
8.) HOSES & DISINFECTING: We can hose off your dog run or patio, we can disinfect it and we can sanitize your dog run for an extra fee. We will only do this if you have a functional hose available with no holes and within 50 feet of the dog run or area to be cleaned. We will provide our own hose for a minimal fee providing there is an operable water spigot within 50 feet of the dog run or area to be cleaned.
9.) UNCONTROLLED DOGS: Your service tech is trained to handle most dogs in most circumstances. However, if we ever feel your dog is uncontrollable or that we are in any kind of danger, we will kindly request that your dog be secured before we will enter your yard. Failure to do so will result in us not being able to perform our service in a satisfactory manner and will incur the regular service charge for the visit.
10.) CANCELLING SERVICE: We hate to see you go, but we understand stuff happens. If you need to cancel your service, just give us a call or shoot us an email. Make sure we respond to your email to make sure it didn't end up in cyberspace somewhere. You can also log into your customer portal to cancel service.
11.) MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION: We reserve the right to temporarily change service days as needed. If you are missed due to circumstances beyond our control, i.e. illness, downed vehicle, lack of daylight in the winter months. lazy employee, you will not be charged unless we perform the service the following day.
11a.) If you are missed due to acts of God, i.e. heavy rain, snow, ice days, hurricane, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc. you may be charged your regular service fee since there will be twice as much waste to pick up on the next visit. (See 5a Above.) We will not allow our employees to work in dangerous or adverse weather conditions when the temperatures drop below 42 degrees of above 110 degrees. (See 5a Above.)
By initiating service, both parties agree to the above terms and responsibilities.
